AN OVERTURNED lorry is causing delays in south Herefordshire this morning (Wednesday).
Police, firefighters and paramedics are currently on scene on the C1226 Haywood Lane near the A465, where a lorry has overturned after leaving the road.
Firefighters from Hereford were called to the scene of the crash to make the lorry safe. The crew used absorbant mats used to contain a fuel spillage.
One casualty was checked by paramedics but it is understood that no-one was seriously injured in the crash.
A spokesperson for Herefordshire Council and Balfour Beatty Living Places said the road will have to be fully closed for around an hour later this morning in order to recover the lorry.
2.35pm Road now open, the lorry has been recovered.
