The sound of Christmas will come to Dymock next week, when youngsters from St Mary’s Church will be carol singing throughout the village.
The event will start at 6pm, at the lych gate of St Mary’s Church, on Tuesday December 17.
The group will then move on to various locations around the village, where they will stop and sing.
All donations this year will go to the Family Haven, which is a local children’s charity, based in Gloucestershire.
Festive songs will be heard again in Dymock on Friday, December 20, from 8pm, at The Beauchamp Arms, for a “Carols in the Pub” event.
Regulars and a choir will help to raise the rafters, and poems related to Christmas will also be recited.
There will also be a carol service at St Mary’s Church itself, on Sunday December 22, from 6.30pm. And on Christmas Eve, there will be a “Donkey on the Green” Nativity celebration, from 5pm, on Wintours Green.
