ANOTHER windy weekend is on the way, with a yellow warning for wind issued for Herefordshire on Saturday.

Hot on the heels of Storm Ciara, which swept across Britain at the weekend, forecasters said very strong winds, associated with Storm Dennis, are expected across many parts of England and Wales.

Gusts of 50 miles per hour are expected widely inland, with around 60 miles per hour in places.

Around the coasts, especially in the west and south, gusts of 60 to 70 miles per hour are likely. This will be accompanied by heavy rain at times.

The Met Office said there is a chance of flying debris and potential travel disruption, and people are advised to check their routes before travelling.
