A WARNING has been issued to drivers after a high value car was damaged when it aquaplaned on a Hampshire motorway.
The Porsche crashed near on the M27 near Cadnam after hitting a pool of water on the motorway earlier this morning.
Now drivers are being warned to take care on the roads following on from Storm Dennis, which brought heavy wind and rain across the UK over the weekend.
In a tweet by Hants Roads Policing, police said: "Whilst Storm Dennis may have subsided in Hampshire, a lot of standing water remains.
"Please drive to the conditions and road you see it today, not as you think you know it."
