A MAN has been charged after a security officer was assaulted outside a Hereford supermarket, police have confirmed.
West Mercia Police spokesperson said a 26-year-old Hereford man had been charged with assault by beating and obstructing a person from carrying out a function under coronavirus regulations.
Levi Doherty, of Bath Street, was arrested at his home on Saturday following the incident on March 28.
