HEREFORDSHIRE'S skies might be quieter than usual, with airlines grounded and all non-essential travel stopped.
But members of the Hereford Times Camera Club have proven that there is still plenty to see from our own doorsteps, with a wealth of interesting aircraft spotted over the county over the past week.
Hereford residents would have been hard-pressed not to have heard these aircraft as they came in low over Tupsley and St James yesterday.
Stu Lane captured this shot of one of a pair of Puma helicopters flying at low altitude over Hereford yesterday as it came in to land briefly at the TA Centre on Harold Street.
Fellow Camera Club member Belinda Olsen was also out with her camera as the helicopters came over.
"The two RAF Pumas were in Hereford again this afternoon, I adore the little tiger decal on the nose of the tiger stripe paintwork version," she said.
And Jane Hufton snapped this shot of what is understood to be a C-17 Globemaster based at RAF Brize Norton circling over north Herefordshire.
Have you or your little ones been plane-spotting over the last couple of weeks? We would love to see your pictures!
