HEREFORD Stampede are raising awareness and funds for Herefordshire Mind following the death of one of their players.
The American Football side received the news earlier this month that Mike Penhalagan ‘Big Mike’ had committed suicide following a battle with mental health.
Club members are completing a Route 66 Challenge in his memory which will see his team-mates running, walking and/or cycling the distance of Route 66, a total of 2,400 miles to raise money for Mind Herefordshire.
Hereford Stampede have set-up a Virgin Money Giving page HERE where they have already raised £425 towards their target of £1,000
