A MOTORCYCLIST sustained serious injuries to a leg during a crash in Ellesmere Port.
Firefighters were called out to the collision in Wellington road shortly after 5.20pm yesterday (Monday, August 3).
The crash involved a car and a motorcyclist.
A fire crew made the scene safe and contained fuel which was leaking from the car.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The motorcyclist is believed to have sustained serious injuries to his leg and was handed into the car of paramedics.
"The driver of the car was also assessed by paramedics. Wellington Road was closed for a short time."
