FIREFIGHTERS were called to a shed fire in Herefordshire's Golden Valley yesterday afternoon.

A fire service spokesperson said crews from Peterchurch and Eardisley were sent to the fire at 3.50pm.

On arrival, the crews found a large area of the shed's fascia and a nearby hedge had been damaged by the blaze.

Firefighters used a main jet to put out the flames, cutting away parts of the structure.

A thermal imaging camera was also used to check for hotspots that could pose a further risk.
