The street with the most amount of burglaries reported since June 2019 is George Street. A total number of 7 burglaries have been reported on this street- for each case, no suspect has been identified or police have been unable to prosecute the suspect.

Other streets with a large amount of burglaries reported are Liverpool Road and Hindlip Lane- 6 burglaries have been reported on each street.

5 burglaries were reported on Tolladine Road, Lowesmoor Terrace, Laugherne Road and Malthouse Place.

How burglaries in Worcester have changed

As you can see from the graph, burglaries in Worcester fluctuated a lot over the year.

Cases peaked around Christmas time-  64 cases were reported in November 2019.

Predictably, burglary cases plummeted in April 2020- this was when the start of lockdown was announced and more people were forced to stay indoors.

How many cases have been solved?

Out of the 580 burglaries in Worcester since June 2019, only 5% of cases (29) are awaiting a court outcome-  30 are still under investigation.

Police officers have been unable to prosecute suspects in 124 cases and in 359 cases no suspect has been identified.
