HEREFORD FC will start their pre-season campaign with a friendly match behind closed doors against Wellington on Tuesday, August 25.

The Bulls have also confirmed that they will make the trip to Weston-super-Mare on Saturday, September 12.

The match at Weston-super-Mare could see Hereford come up against former players Mike Symons, Jacob Jagger Cane and Kieran Thomas

Both matches will be played behind closed doors.

Bulls manager Josh Gowling said: “The Wellington game and more so the Weston-Super-Mare game are a fantastic test for the boys.

“Wellington is a local game for us and it’s great to give something back to the community.

“The Weston game will be a huge test for the boys due to the fact that their season starts earlier than ours so they will be almost match fit and ready to go for the start of their season.

“We will be midway into our pre-Season campaign so this will give us a great indication of where we are in terms of fitness.”
