PREES Parish council has installed a traffic speed monitor to record incidents of speeding through the parish.
The electronic sign is currently situated on the A49 in the 50mph zone by Holly Farm and informs drivers of their current speed as they drive past.
A post online from Prees Parish Council explained the function of the sign.
We have installed the first of two traffic speed monitors within the Parish," said the post. "The monitors will warn motorists if they are travelling too fast.
"They will also collect data as to the speeds travelled on our roads. They will not take photographs of vehicles.
"The monitors are mobile and will be moved around the parish."
