Mathon parish council is opposing plans to convert the only village pub into homes.
The owners of the Cliffe Arms want to turn it into two houses, and build a new home in its garden.
Herefordshire Council rejected the scheme last year because not enough evidence was provided to demonstrate the pub could not be made a viable business β but the owners have submitted the proposals again.
Parish council chairman Sam Harte said: βIt is annoying and frustrating that the Cliffe Arms remains closed, despite there having been an offer on the table to buy it as a pub for most of those 15 years and this offer is still active.
"We now hope that people will make their views known once again. We are not going to give up on our village pub!β
