PEOPLE in a Herefordshire village have complained about "yellow water" coming from their taps.
In a community group Facebook group, several members have commented on the unusual colour of their supply in Little Marcle.
Zoe Owen said: "Has anybody else got yellow water in Little Marcle?"
Rocky Luther said: "Mine is always yellow."
According to Severn Trent's website, the colour can be caused by "the disturbance of naturally occurring sediment in the supply.
"This disturbance is caused by a sudden change in the direction or flow rate of water.
"This can occur due to a burst pipe, work being carried out on pipes nearby, or through an increase in demand such as when the fire service connect to our mains or someone illegally uses a hydrant."
