THE apples and orchards of Herefordshire will be the juicy theme for a half-term workshop session for families, at Eastnor Pottery.
And the sessions will show support for the county-wide “Apples for autumn” scheme, involving food, cider and juice producers, to help promote local orchard-based enterprises.
Potter Jon Williams said: “Eastnor Pottery has been inspired to take part. During the October half term, families are invited to indulge in a little bit of apple-based clay modelling fun.
“Core Strength is the project title and participants of all ages and abilities get the opportunity to fashion a ‘superhero apple’ using soft clay. It could be a kung foo kicking Granny Smith or an alluring Pink Lady super spy – anything goes!”
Pre-booking is essential, and social distancing rules will apply.
