THREE teenagers have been arrested after a man was seriously assaulted on Saturday evening in Hereford.
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the incident which happened at just before 10pm in High Town on October 17.
In a statement released this afternoon (October 19), a police spokesperson confirmed that three teenage boys, two aged 16 and one aged 15, all from Herefordshire, were arrested on suspicion of assault and have been released on police bail.
Officers are carrying out enquiries as part of the investigation and are appealing for witnesses.
Detective Inspector Chris Percival said: “We believe that there were a number of witnesses in the area at the time of incident and we would ask anyone with information to contact us.”
