Ledbury residents and visitors have until Halloween, October 31, to catch up with the recently re-opened Heritage Centre in Church Lane.
As a result of the ‘lock down’ in March, owner Ledbury Places was unable to open the centre, but limited opening resumed at the end of August, as the Covid situation began to look more hopeful.
Sally Holliday - Heritage Centre volunteer co-ordinator said: “By mid-summer we thought that perhaps we just might be able to open to visitors as they were beginning to come to Ledbury. A great deal of hard work was done to ensure that the building would be safe for both visitors and volunteers. Over the summer the trustees of Ledbury Places had been working hard to complete a completely new display in the main hall of the building. The seven new panels show the history of Ledbury and its buildings.
“We currently have restricted opening hours – Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only, between 11am. and 3pm.”
