RESIDENTS in Offa are being warned to protect themselves from opportunistic thieves.
The police's community safety team say there have been a number of thefts from vehicles in the Offa area of Wrexham.
There have been reports of people trying car doors to see if they are unlocked.
The team said: "Thefts from vehicles are taking place in the Offa area,
"Please don't leave items on display. Don't temp opportunistic thieves. Persons have been trying car doors."
