ROADWORKS were delayed this morning after a single-car crash near Vowchurch.

Firefighters from Peterchurch Fire Station were called to the scene of the crash this morning (October 27), where they found one car was on its side.

A fire service spokesperson said one casualty managed to get out of the vehicle with assistance from passers-by before their arrival, and the crew worked to make the car safe.

Paramedics and police were also called to the crash, although it is understood that no-one was seriously injured.

A Herefordshire Council spokesperson said the planned B4348 Vowchurch road closure for resurfacing works would be delayed for a few hours following the crash.
