Actress Elizabeth Hurley, who lives at Donnington Hall near Ledbury, said lockdown for her was like living in an episode of The Waltons.
According to reports in national media, she compared her life during Covid to the simple family routines made famous in the American series, which was set during the Great Depression era.
And she reveal her family were engaged on necessary manual labour during the lockdown. At the time, Miss Hurley was sharing her home with a few friends, her mum, her sister Kate, and her son, Damian, 18.
