ROSS-ON-WYE is the area in Herefordshire where the most coronavirus cases were found last week.

A total of 16 cases were recorded in the seven days up to October 25, a Government map shows.

Hereford North East saw a rise in cases on the previous week with 13 cases recorded, while Hereford South recorded 10 cases and Hereford South West had 11 cases.

Meanwhile, Ledbury had 11 cases record while the Golden Valley had eight cases.

All of these areas were classed as ‘blue’ on the Government’s map meaning the rate was between 101-200 per 100,000 population and are calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.
