The number of recorded coronavirus cases in Herefordshire increased by nine over the last 24 hours, official figures show.

Public Health England figures show that 2,339 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am on Tuesday (November 24) in Herefordshire, up from 2,330 the same time on Monday.

Since last Tuesday, the number of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 rose by 229 from 2,110.

The graph below shows the number of cases in Herefordshire by date of test, and not the day when the cases were published by PHE.

There can be a few days while waiting for tests results to be returned from laboratories.

Across the UK, the number of recorded cases increased by 11,299 over the past 24 hours., to 1,538,794.

CORONAVIRUS LATEST:

Herefordshire's cases were among the 154,445 recorded across the West Midlands, a figure which rose by 1,244 over the period.

Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.

No further patients have died after testing positive for coronavirus at the Wye Valley NHS Trust.
