As Ledbury prepares to move from Tier 1 to Tier 2, statistics from the Government's interactive map shows that Covid cases have been on the rise in the market town.
A total of 12 new cases of Covid were recorded in the seven days up to December 18, which is a statistical rise of 300 per cent on the previous week.
The Colwall, Cradley and Wellington Heath zone remained in the "suppressed" category, with fewer than three cases recorded in that time period.
But 11 cases were recorded in the Dymock, Hartpury and Huntley zone. However than was down by six on the previous week.
There were 15 new cases recorded in the nearby market town of Newent, which was a statistical rise of 114 per cent on the previous week.
