A 'SIGNIFICANT amount' of lead has been stolen from the roof of a building used by a nursery.
Credenhill Parish Council state the theft has been made the Field House building in the village.
The building was formerly the school when the village was much smaller.
It is now home to Fieldhouse Montessori Kindergarten who the council say operate a nursery 'with very limited funds'.
The theft has happened some time in the last week and a significant amount of lead has been stolen.
The police have been informed and local scrap dealers will be made aware of the very distinctive pattern (on the lead).
Anybody with any information is urged to get in touch with the parish council.
