A DRIVER has been banned from the roads after driving while over the drug limit.

Simon Luke Goss admitted drug-driving when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford on January 6.

The court heard Goss had been caught behind the wheel on the A417 near Ashperton, Ledbury, on August 29.

Blood tests revealed the 31-year-old had 5.4 microgrammes of cannabis metabolite delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The legal limit is two.

Goss, of Tenth Avenue, Bristol, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £400. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £40 victim surcharge.
