A MINI driver was caught driving after taking amphetamines, a court has heard.
John Alexander Wall admitted the offence when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford on January 6.
The court heard Wall had been caught behind the wheel of a Mini at Leominster's Barons Cross on July 22.
Blood tests revealed the 41-year-old had 278 microgrammes of amphetamine per litre of blood. The legal limit is 250.
Wall, of Merwald Close, Leominster, was disqualified from driving for 30 months and fined £50. He must also pay costs of £50 and a £34 victim surcharge.
