FIREFIGHTERS remain on scene this morning after a major barn fire in Herefordshire.
Crews from seven stations were called to the blaze in Kings Pyon just after 1pm yesterday (January 18).
The fire is understood to have involved two barns and 500 tonnes of straw, while all livestock were safely evacuated from the area.
Crews from Kingsland, Hereford, Leominster, Eardisley, Kington, Ledbury and Malvern were all initially called to the scene.

They were followed by relief crews from Peterchurch, Bromyard and Hereford with monitoring throughout the night to prevent the fire spreading.
Further relief crews from Tenbury and Worcester remain on scene this morning.
