THE ROAD through a village in North Hereford has been blocked by flood water.
Griffiths Garage, in the village positioned at the tip of the county, said that the River Teme is now in ‘full and fast flow across the road’.
They state that the river level is still rising and the council has closed the road through Leintwardine.

There is currently a flood alert in place in Upper Teme.
The Environment Agency said: “River levels are forecast to continue rising at the Leintwardine and Onibury river gauges due to Storm Christoph.
“Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is expected to continue. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the River Teme, River Onny and River Corve and their tributaries.
“Locations that may be affected include Bishops Castle, Church Stretton, Knighton and Ludlow.
The predicted peaks of the River Teme are:
Corve 2.8m to 3.2m Thursday afternoon
Leintwardine 1.9m to 2.3m Thursday morning
Onibury 2.2m to 2.6m Thursday afternoon.
