A FLOOD alert has been placed on the River Wye meaning 'flooding is possible - be prepared'.
The Environment Agency says that flooding of roads and farmland is expected possible from Saturday morning.
The river level has risen at the Old Wye Bridge river gauge.

"We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads along the River Wye from Hay on Wye to Ross on Wye," said the Environment Agency.
"Other locations that may be affected include the A438, Byford, Bredwardine and Hereford.
"The footpath on the North River bank in Hereford and King Georges playing fields is starting to flood.
"Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded."
Expected peak river level
- Hay on Wye 3.2m to 3.7m Saturday afternoon
- Bredwardine 5.4m to 5.9m Saturday evening
- Belmont 5.2m to 5.7m Saturday overnight
- Old Wye Bridge 4.5m to 5.0m Saturday overnight
- Mordiford 4.7m to 5.2m Sunday
- Ross on Wye 3.2m to 3.5m at Saturday overnight.
