Pupils at Ledbury Primary School have been going ‘quackers’with delight, following a donation of books which celebrate friendship and bravery.
The books are donation from David Wilson Homes, and they are from the pen of local author, Victoria Palmer.
The Angry Duck’ is a children’s book "which explores relationships, overcomes misunderstandings and celebrates that everyone is different".
Victoria said: “I’m so humbled to have had my book selected as part of this amazing initiative. I really hope that The Angry Duck helps children to understand that it’s ok to be themselves - in fact, that’s a great thing. I also hope it helps them realise that we are all different, and that is worth celebrating and not something to be afraid of.”
Steve Barton, Senior Sales Manager at David Wilson Homes Mercia, said: “It’s always a pleasure to work so closely with communities to enable us to make a positive impact in the areas in which we build."
