A DRIVER has been banned from the roads after he was caught on a main road in Herefordshire while over the alcohol limit.
Justin Elliot Brown admitted drink-driving when he appeared before magistrates in Worcester on February 11.
The court heard Brown had been caught behind the wheel of a Ford Focus on the A4103 Hereford to Worcester road on July 9.
An evidential blood test revealed the 23-year-old had 147 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80.
Brown, of Astley, Stourport, was disqualified from driving for 20 months and fined £250. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
