Here’s a video from Herefordshire Council, which showcases the amazing artwork received from primary schools across the county in celebration of their key worker heroes this Valentine’s Day.
During the Coronavirus pandemic, people working in front-line services, such as health care, emergency services, retail and education, have been supporting members of our local community, serving under monumental pressure.
With many of their children still attending school throughout lockdown, they’ve been creating some wonderful pieces of art to share positivity and appreciation for their loved ones.
A selection of this artwork takes pride of place in the centre, pull-out feature of this week’s Hereford Times (25 February 2021) and will soon be on display at Hereford County Hospital, to help lift the spirits of staff and patients.
Thank you to all key workers. And remember to Play Your Part to stop the spread of Covid-19.
