IT is World Book Day today and even in one of the most difficult years, children across Herefordshire will still be getting dressed up as their favourite literary character.

And you can send us pictures to show off their efforts.

Children in and around Herefordshire will be dusting off their magic wands and finding their fairy wings for the annual celebration of reading and writing. Usually it means children of all ages going to school dressed up as witches, wizards, pirates and princesses and other literary characters.

Is your child dressing up for World Book Day? We want to see the pictures of your costumes!

Just use the link. Please include your child’s name, their school, and the character they are dressed as with your picture.
