NHS staff in Herefordshire have issued a plea to patients not to bring donations to vaccination clinics.
Herefordshire's GP federation, Taurus Healthcare are currently taking part in the roll-out of the coronavirus vaccine across the county.
But they have today (March 4) issued the plea to their patients not to bring food donations to their clinics due to the risk of infection they pose.
"Although we appreciate the kind gesture, due to Covid infection prevention and control rules, we are unable to accept these gifts," a Taurus spokesperson said.
Across Herefordshire, thousands of people have now receiving their coronavirus vaccine at a variety of settings including GP surgeries, Elgar House, and the mass site at the Three Counties Showground.
