The Nozstock Festival is down to last 100 tickets, a sure sign that people are in the mood to celebrate after the Covid lockdown eases down.

If all goes to plan, Nozstock The Hidden Valley festival near Bromyard, will be back for its 22nd season this summer

A spokesman said: "The team are working to create a Covid-safe environment for everyone, in beautiful Herefordshire countryside from Thursday July 22 to Sunday July 25.

"For most of the year Rowden Paddocks is a fully working farm, complete with cows, sheep and chickens. Yet every summer since 2008, a rather brilliant and barmy family-friendly festival has also grown in Herefordshire; from first a handful of friends and family getting together for an intimate party, evolving over the years into a marvellously magical weekend of escapism set across the idyllic rolling hills with headline acts from around the world dropping in. And now, after a few days of unprecedented demand, there are now just 100 tickets left."

Last year’s fallow summer was the first time Nozstock has not taken place, with the entire UK festival season postponed.

The spokesman added: "It has been a long and difficult last 12 months, with everyone impacted by the pandemic in some way. However, since last week’s road map news and timeline, the team are incredibly thrilled to announce they are coming back.

"Many of last year’s booked artists are all back for this summer. In the eclectic style which defines the festival, it’s a brilliantly diverse range of performers across the site’s 10 stages, including Sister Sledge, Bill Bailey, Andy C ft. Tonn Piper, Calyx and Teebee w/ LX One, Gentleman’s Dub Club, Submotion Orchestra, Ibibio Sound Machine, Dirty Dike, Flava D, Mungo’s HI FI ft. Gardna, Stanton Warriors, Break, Culture Shock, Kanine, Dutty Moonshine Big Band, 24hr Garage Girls, Nicky Blackmarket, Tankus The Henge, Randall, The Destroyers and hundreds more."

Ella says: "We are astonished that we are so close to selling out. Since the road map news, we have seen a huge spike in demand like many other events, and we are now planning to have the festival as we intended last year – in its full Nozstock glory. We understand however that things are by no means certain. We are committed to going ahead, but only if it’s safe to do so. We will remain cautiously optimistic, keep watching how the situation unfolds and keep every finger and toe crossed that we have the summer we have all been waiting for. We can’t wait to welcome people back to the fields. The headliners and many of the artists and performers we had booked last year are all coming back which is great and we are working closely with the relevant bodies to ensure things are COVID secure. “

Nozstock is a unique odyssey of discovery, enchantment and adventure unlike anything else in the UK. The Nosworthy family curate one of the finest portfolios of music and arts, with a huge focus on keeping families entertained in the Little Wonderland Kids’ Area. There’s incredible attention to detail at every turn, across long lazy days and energetic nights. 2021 is going to be a defining year for the festival.
