BEER campaigners have published a list of the more than 100 pubs that have opened for outdoor sales in Herefordshire.

The Campaign for Real Ale says around 40 per cent of the county’s pubs have already taken the opportunity to reopen for outdoor sales as more lockdown restrictions were eased this week.

And they say more pubs are likely to open over the next few days.

Mark Haslam, from Herefordshire Campaign for Real Ale (Camra), said: “It’s great news to see so many Herefordshire pubs set out on the long road to normality.

“The fact that they have been so busy in the first 48 hours only goes to demonstrate quite how much people enjoy going to the pub and how much they’ve been missed during the lockdown.

“Whether you’re looking to go to a pub in town or to visit a country inn, Camra has listed all those that are now open (and is updating the list daily) at: https://herefordcamra.org.uk/together.htm .

“All we could do with now is for the sunny weather to continue, although some chilly evenings don’t seem to have deterred too many people!”
