Questions have been raised about the figure of 7 per cent when relating to through traffic on the A49.

Reference to this website https://roadtraffic.dft.gov.uk/manualcountpoints/36537 shows that the average daily flow, over the last 10 years, across the new bridge is more than 44,600 vehicles every single day.
If only 7 per cent is through traffic, more than 41,500 go somewhere else. Can anybody explain where they all go? There are only 4,000 or so car parking spaces in Hereford.
