AS the bank holiday weekend nears, beer campaigners have updated a list of the more than 100 pubs which have reopened after the coronavirus lockdown.
The Campaign for Real Ale says around 45 per cent of the county’s pubs have already taken the opportunity to reopen for outdoor sales as more lockdown restrictions were eased last month.
Mark Haslam, from Herefordshire Campaign for Real Ale (Camra), told the Local Democracy Reporting Service: “It’s great news to see so many Herefordshire pubs set out on the long road to normality.
“The fact that they have been so busy in the first 48 hours only goes to demonstrate quite how much people enjoy going to the pub and how much they’ve been missed during the lockdown.
“Whether you’re looking to go to a pub in town or to visit a country inn, Camra has listed all those that are now open."
