THE number of coronavirus cases in Herefordshire have doubled in the latest seven-day figures released by the Government.
The figures show that in the seven days up until April 24, a total of 51 coronavirus cases were recorded in the county - a rise of 28 (121.7%) on the previous seven-day period.
The majority of Herefordshire is still classed as 'suppressed' meaning less than three cases were recorded.
In these areas the exact number is not published to protect individuals' identities.

However, there are four areas of Herefordshire which recorded more than three cases.
Lugwardine, Withington & Moreton on Lugg recorded a sharp rise in cases with 16 cases found in the seven-day period - a rise 13 (433.3%).
Hereford South West saw a small rise in cases with five record - an increase of three on the previous week.
Ledbury recorded four cases - a rise of two on the previous week.
Meanwhile, Fownhope, Tarrington & Marcle also recorded three cases - a rise of one on the previous seven days.
