Update (Tuesday, May 4): David Lockyer has been found safe. Police have thanked those who shared their appeal.
Police believe a missing man may be at a beauty spot on the Herefordshire border.
David Lockyer, aged 49, was last seen at home in Astwood Road, Worcester, at around 11am on Saturday (May 1).
West Mercia Police think he may have travelled to the Black Mountains area of the Brecon Beacons, and may have used his black Vauxhall Astra, number plate starting BK59.
Mr Lockyer is described as white, around 5ft 7in tall, of slim build with grey short thinning hair.
He was last seen wearing green/grey trousers, a grey fleece, brown shoes and a tweed baseball cap.
He has connections to the Worcester, Tenbury Wells, Bewdley, Droitwich and Ombersley areas.
Officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and would ask anyone who has seen him to please call 101.
