HEREFORD fans can enter a ballot for the remaining FA Trophy final tickets to go on general sale.

This week season ticket holders and volunteers were given the chance to purchase tickets for the Wembley final next Saturday (May 22).

They have until 11.59pm on Thursday (May 13) to purchase their tickets during the priority sales period.

Remaining tickets will then be available via a ballot system.

A statement on the Hereford FC website said: "Due to Covid regulations, we will not be holding general sales in person due to the number of fans expected to be queuing for a ticket.

"Instead, we will open a ballot system online where fans can apply for the opportunity to purchase tickets.

"Due to the limited number of tickets available, we have had to place a strict purchase limit. You will have the option of applying for one adult ticket or one adult ticket and one U16 ticket.

"We appreciate that some fans would like to purchase more tickets, but we have tried to be as fair and consistent as possible throughout the whole ticket sales process.

"We will randomly select supporters and will email details of how to purchase a ticket online over the weekend."

To apply for a place in our ballot, please complete the following form no later than noon on Friday, May 14.
