A MAN has been given a restraining order for harassment.

At The Pool in Evesham between March 5 and March 9 this year, Nicky Spencer harassed a woman by attending her workplace and making six unwanted phone calls to her.

Spencer, 37, of Birmingham Road, Redditch, pleaded guilty to the charge at Redditch Magistrates Court on May 10 2021.

Spencer was given a restraining order prohibiting him from contacting the woman directly or indirectly. The order lasts until May 9 2022.

He was also fined £435, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44 and costs of £135 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Meanwhile, a man has been banned from driving for six months for failing to provide information to police.

In Droitwich on June 11 2020, Delroy Irving failed to provide information to police relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Irving, 50, of Gough Street, Willenhall, pleaded not guilty to the charge on February 24 2021.The verdict was proved in absence at Redditch Magistrates Court on April 13 2021. Irving was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and costs of £135 to the Crown Prosecution Service.The driving ban was obligatory due to repeat offending.Another man was also fined for failing to provide information to police.

In Droitwich on November 11 2020, Andy Gilbert failed to provide information to police relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Gilbert, 43, of Brook House Farm, Moreton on Lugg, pleaded not guilty but the verdict was proved in absence on May 10 2021. Gilbert was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and costs of £250. His driving record was endorsed with six points.
