Beer in Hand

This Eign Street craft pub and Odyssey Brewery tap house in Hereford, serves keg, cask, bottles and cans along with traditional cider, wines, and spirits.

And it's certainly a hit with Tripadvisor reviewers, with 87 of 94 rating it excellent or very good.

"This is by far the best place to visit if you’re a craft beer connoisseur as they have large choice of such beers to suit anyone’s palette," wrote Mr Spock.

"It’s quite extensive inside with lots of seating and is very popular with the local which is always a good sign. The guy who served us was very friendly and helpful and the venue is a must visit if you’re in the area and want to sample good beers."

But you will have to wait a little longer if you're planning a visit, with the pub confirming it will reopen to customers on May 27.

Hereford Beer House

This West Street off-license and micro-pub stocks beer and cider on tap, wine, G&T, bar snacks, 230+ bottles/cans of local cider, UK craft beer and world beers from Belgium, USA, Germany, and more.

And it's popular with visitors, with 33 of its 34 reviewers rating it excellent or very good.

"I'm like a child in a sweet shop," wrote Jon from Hereford.

"Always something great on tap, and something amazing in the fridges to try. Such variety and also great knowledge on the actual stock by the staff. If you like beer ( and cider to a small extent) come and try :-)"

Again, there will be a little wait for customers keen to get back to the bar, with the pub staying closed to drink-in customers until the end of June. But beer fans can still get their hands on Hereford Beer House's selection by ordering takeaway beer in person or online.
