I agree with Councillor Elizabeth Foxton, as do most of Herefordshire’s vehicle using citizens, that the requirement for further bridges over the Wye are essential to cut congestion, pollution, and distance travelled being time wasted.

Travelling through Hereford due to the lack of a bypass, which if constructed would mean I could avoid the city on Saturdays when there are fewer commercial vehicles and no school run, I am unfortunately not surprised to find queues on the A49 going into and leaving the city, as there are on the Worcester road.

One therefore can not agree by putting the majority of schoolchildren on bicycles (consider winter weather) this will solve congestion, only two bridges and a bypass.
