A LORRY has spilt its load on a busy road into Hereford, with disruption expected for "several hours".
Herefordshire Council shared an image of the tipper lorry which had spilt its load on the A438 between Hereford and Brecon.
A spokesperson said police were at the scene, near to Oakchurch Farm Shop in Portway, and directing traffic.
The lorry, which the council said had spilt "hazardous waste", had a broken axle, with heavy traffic as a result.
"A438 Portway, outside Oakchurch Garden Centre, lorry with hazardous waste with broken axle and spill on road," the council said.
"Police are controlling the heavy traffic, motorists are advised to find an alternative route as recovery will take several hours."
