RIVER rescue teams from Ledbury and Malvern were seen on the Wye in Herefordshire at the weekend.
Firefighters were out on the water in rescue boats and full gear, while smoke was seen rising from a passenger boat.
Crews from Whitchurch, Ross-on-Wye, Hereford, Fownhope, Eardisley, and Malpas also took part in the training exercise at Symonds Yat on Sunday, October 17.
A fire service spokesman said: “A huge thank you to Symonds Yat Leisure Park for allowing us to use their boat and train on site. Thank you to West Mercia Police, the ambulance service, Hart Team, Heart of Worcester college and Solihull college and University. Well done to everyone involved.”
