THE Friends of Ledbury Parish Church have announced their plans for the coming year, starting with a bell tower tour on Wednesday, November 3.
The 75-minute tour, led by Tower Captain Tim Keynes, starts at 2.30pm. It will be a chance to see some of the major work done to the bells and all the main spaces over the last two years. It will also feature lots of information about the history of the tower and the art of bell ringing.
Tickets at £5, or £4 for members, must be booked in advance by emailing thkeyes28@hotmail.com or calling 07577 720154.
Other events planned for the coming months include a quiz night with sausage and mash supper, a talk entitled ‘The Bells of John Masefield’ and a Burns Night evening early next year.
