A dog rescue centre is appealing to find the owners of two dogs found in Ledbury this week.

The two dogs were found in the same area of the town but separately by different people, who then took them to different vets.

But Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue said the pair have definitely lived together for a long time as they are happily sharing a kennel and eating from the same bowl.

The dogs are currently under the care of Herefordshire Council and their owners are being urged to come forward. If they are not reunited with their owners within seven days, the process of rehoming the dogs will begin.

The rescue centre, which is based in Leominster, has a number of dogs waiting to be rehomed including crossbreed Bonnie, who enjoys walks in the countryside, and three-year-old mastiff Rupert, who is looking for a calm and quiet forever home.
