A festive show at Ledbury’s Market Theatre has been hailed a success.
The Great Santa Kidnap has been running at the theatre since January 13 and will end its run this weekend.
Presented by Ledbury Amateur Dramatic Society (LADS), the show tells the tale of three goblins’ plot to kidnap Santa Claus and hold him to ransom. It is up to Tommy and Anna to find Santa and save Christmas.
Paul Graham, artistic director at the Market Theatre, said: “So far the run has gone extremely well with some brilliant feedback from our audiences.
“The great thing about the show is that there is something there for everyone, whether you are five or 80. The cast are really looking forward to the coming weekend shows and there are still a few tickets left for Friday evening.”
Tickets can be booked via themarkettheatre.com or by calling 07967517125.
LADS was founded in 1938 and now has nearly 200 members. LADS volunteers work front of house at the theatre as well as behind the scenes. Details of how to join can also be found on the Market Theatre website.
