Firefighters were called to a blaze in a hamlet between Ledbury and Hereford in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A fire service spokesperson said crews from Hereford and Ross fire stations were sent to tackle a fire in an external wood store in Checkley at 2.20am on January 25.
Firefighters worked to put out the blaze, which needed considerable damping down and turning over to access deep pockets of fire, the spokesperson said.
